Hi, I'm Queen Angela, Founder of BGM Science of Beauty University. When I opened BGMU, I just wanted to make sure the scientists learned something, which is everything. So many people said that you don't learn anything at beauty school, and my mission was not to let that be the case at BGMU.
With over 30 years of industry experience, I've dedicated myself to pouring that knowledge and passion into our lab learners, the future of beauty and business.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is the school accredited? We are a TDLR licensing school in Texas, but we are not an accredited FAFSA school.
What courses are offered in your program? We offer manicuring, esthetics, and dual licensing programs.
What skills will you learn? You will learn all the skills that each program is allowed to do.
How long will the program last? The eyelash program is 8, 16, 24, or 32 weeks.
Will students get to practice their skills on real people? Yes, distance and in-person lab learners are required to practice on real people.
What are the enrolment requirements? You have to be 17 to sit for the exam.
Is the school accredited? We are a TDLR licensing school in Texas, but we are not an accredited FAFSA school.

What skills will you learn? You will learn all the skills that eyelash technicians are allowed to do.
Does the enrolment fee go towards tuition? No, it is an enrolment fee. It covers, books, kits, admin fees, certification, software, shipping and permit.
What are the payment terms? Payment plans are paid in full, 4, 8, or 12 months.
Do you accept financial aid? Not at this time.
How long will it take to graduate and get my license? The programs are 16, 32, or 48 weeks and after you complete it, you are coached and encouraged to take your exam within 15 days.
Will you offer a program kit? If so, what is included in the kit? Yes, see video. Some supplies may be added or no longer available.
Can I work while attending manicuring school? Yes we encourage you to start taking clients and charge them student prices. You are not allowed to get paid while taking clients on the school floor, but you can make tips.
Do I need continuing education after obtaining my license? Yes, the state of Texas requires 4 hours of continuing education every 2 years (we have the courses). Many states also require them, but you will have to contact them.
How does distance learning work? Classes are in a virtual classroom 3-4 times a week.
